Web Design

Good web design isn’t just about how a site looks, it’s also about how easy it is to use and how people feel when they’re on it. If visitors can’t find what they need quickly, or something feels off, they’ll leave… it’s as simple as that. We focus on creating websites that are clear, intuitive and built around real users, not just aesthetics. Every layout, colour choice and interaction has a purpose.

We’ve been doing this a long time, so we know what tends to work and what doesn’t. Trends change, but the basics don’t. A well-structured site that loads quickly and works properly on any device will always outperform something that just looks impressive on the surface. Whether you need a completely new design or want to improve what you already have, we’ll help you shape something that feels right for your business and works for your audience.

The Cottage Guest House

Being one of the oldest houses in Windermere, this property needed a website to accurately show their carefully curated blend of the modern and traditional. Whilst their third-party booking platform are not able to provide full integration options, we set up the availability search to originate wholly on the property website, avoiding any feeling of disconnect.

Sedbergh History Society

We designed and developed a new website for Sedbergh & District History Society, creating a modern platform that better showcases the organisation’s extensive historical resources and activities. A bespoke integration with a third-party membership system was implemented to manage secure access to members-only documents and content, while still allowing non-members to preview selected materials. The result is a streamlined, user-friendly website that supports both membership engagement and wider public interest in the society’s work.
